Asian Art 101: Chinaat Crow Collection of Asian Art • $10 for Friends of the Crow Collection, $20 for the public
Jennifer Casler Price will focus on the arts of China, with a primary emphasis on the fundamental and enduring traditions of ceramics, calligraphy and painting, and jade carving. She will also discuss Buddhist sculpture as well as touch upon decorative art forms such as, lacquer and cloisonné.

Bio: Jennifer Casler Price is the Curator for Asian and Non-Western Art at the Kimbell Art Museum and obtained her graduate degree in Chinese Art History from the Institute of Fine Arts, NYU. During her tenure she has curated a wide range of Asian art exhibitions including Chinese antiquities, Buddhist sculpture, and Samurai armor. She lectures frequently, leads patron tours to Asia, and also conducts new and continuing docents training at the Kimbell Art Museum.
