Body, Mind, Heart, and Artat Crow Collection of Asian Art
As the school year starts, fall into wellness with simple routines that can improve your health. How about yoga for the entire family? Be the first to sign up for the family yoga marathon and let our certified instructors help your family attain harmony in both mind and body. If yoga isn’t for you, no worries- you can play traditional Asian games such as Carom (a mix between shuffleboard, marbles and pool), Diabolo (a type of juggling), hoop rolling (it’s exactly what you think), tuho (similar to horseshoes) and much more. Still looking for more? Join our dancers for instruction in authentic Indian folk, contemporary and fusion dances. If all the dancing makes you hungry, join us for a few samples of nutritional snacks and listen to clinical dietitian Sapna Punjabi-Gupta provide tips on packing delicious and healthy lunches or peek into the bag of a Tibetan amchi (medical doctor) and discover the three elements that can bring balance to your body. Finally, with body and heart taken care of, it’s time to focus on your creative side. Make an origami flowerpot, decorate a pocket stone with an inspirational phrase, or create an official Crow Collection of Asian Art back to school kit. Last but not least, let our Gallery Educators exercise your mind with an interactive exhibit experience that will make you want to come back for more.
