Continuing Education Workshop: Printmaking with Yuji Hiratsuka• Sold Out

Join Oregon State Professor of Fine Arts Yuji Hiratsuka for a lively, 2-hour, hands-on printmaking workshop. Described as synthesis of Japanese ukiyo-e tradition and modern Western elements, Hiratsuka’s work is included in many public collections, including the British Museum, Tokyo Central Museum, and Freer Gallery of Art and the Arthur M. Sackler Gallery, the Smithsonian’s museums of Asian art. Hiratsuka was born in Osaka, Japan and earned degrees from Tokyo Gakugei University, New Mexico State University, and Indiana University.
