Amy

Amy Lewis Hofland, the executive director of the Crow Collection of Asian Art, hosts a luncheon and lecture honoring the legendary life of the museum’s co-founder Margaret Doggett Crow (1919-2014).  Margaret’s lessons are many: gracious living, compassionate hospitality, and communicating with love.  These principles made her a guiding light to the Crow family, and to this museum.

On this day, which marks the museum’s 16th anniversary, Mrs. Hofland will share reflections highlighting Mrs. Crow’s exceptional taste and keen eye for the exquisite.  Mrs. Hofland will also highlight works of art from Mrs. Crow’s estate that are now part of the museum’s permanent collection, including significant pieces of jade sculpture-a particular passion of both Margaret and “her Trammell”.

$20 for Friends of the Crow Collection; $30 for the public. Promotional code can be found in the fall Lotus Lens or by contacting membership@dev.crowcollection.org. Price includes plated, catered lunch.
