Fall Season Wellness – The Ayurvedic Way
Ayurveda, the ancient holistic medical system from India, teaches us that we live best by aligning our diet and lifestyles with mother nature and its changing seasons. As the weather gets cooler in the fall, we must learn to not only change out our closets, but also make changes to our food choices, spices, and daily routines. Sapna Punjabi-Gupta, a registered dietitian and Ayurveda wellness expert, shares her insight through this monthly series how to live in harmony with seasons.
- Learn about the Ayurvedic seasonal clock and develop an appreciation of the seasonal changes and its impact on our bodies and overall health.
- Understand the qualities of Vata dosha and its effect during the fall season.
- Learn easy and practical tips for making lifestyle, diet, and exercise changes to adapt to the seasonal shift.
