Homeschool Program with Midori Okaat Crow Collection of Asian Art • $5 – Friends of the Crow Collection, $7 – Public*
The Crow Collection’s homeschool program connects students with practicing artists, arts professionals, and works of art in the museum.
Visiting Curator Midori Oka will discuss the museum’s latest exhibition, Styled with Poise: Figures in Japanese Paintings and Prints, and read One Inch Boy in a theatrical Japanese pictorial storytelling format called kamishibai. Then students will design personal folding screens in the studio to take home. Oka is the Associate Director of the Burke Center for Japanese Art at Columbia University. Up to 2 hours of parking provided free for Friends of the Crow Collection.
