Wherever we aim our awareness, our mood follows. (For instance, it’s been said that worry is a prayer for what we don’t want.) We can consciously direct our awareness or allow it to be hijacked by drama. And while we’re attending to the drama, we might be missing something we could use to fulfill on what’s truly important to us.
Nancy Dorrier is president of Dorrier Underwood, a management consulting firm that emphasizes self-awareness, high performance, and developing leadership at all levels of an organization.
As President, she is the visionary and creative force behind Dorrier Underwood, and personally coaches CEO’s and leaders around the world to invent and implement bold visions. Nancy has been leading transformational programs for over 20 years and has earned a reputation for making a dramatic impact on people’s lives and having joy and love be present.
Nancy earned a BA in Psychology from Queens University of Charlotte and a Masters in Social Work from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She has received public awards for being a successful business owner and for being a community and world leader. She received the Algernon Sydney Sullivan Award from Queens University in recognition for her work with water development projects and women’s vocational training in East Africa.
