Discover our elements through an Ayurvedic Lens

Ayurveda sees everything in the universe, including human beings, as composed of five great elements of space, air, fire, water, and earth. These five elements combine with each other to give rise to three bio-physical forces (Doshas) that are present in everybody and everything. Through an Ayurvedic lens, the world comes alive in a whole new way and we learn that our health and well-being depends on getting a right balance of these five elements and interplay of the three doshas.

Each participant will learn about their own body constitution by the end of the workshop through the study of five elements and three Doshic energies. Handout, tea sampling, and a door prize are included.

Ayurveda is a one of the world’s oldest systems of natural healing and practiced continuously for more than 5000 years with its origins in the Vedic Cultures of India. Ayurveda means the knowledge or science of life (Ayuh means life and Veda means knowledge). It offers a profound understanding of each person’s unique body, mind, and consciousness, which is the foundation of health and happiness.
