It is funny, inspiring and practical.
Stan Went Fishing: Stories and Images of Waking Up is by a dear friend of the Crow Museum, Nancy Dorrier and photographer Paul Fetter, and is made up of delightful little stories that transform some small or large darkness into light. Join Nancy Dorrier for readings and insight into the writing practice that was the background for this book.
The day has finally arrived and as the newly minted Crow Museum of Asian Art we will be offering wellness classes, performances, and art-making and tours—including the Dallas premiere of JACOB HASHIMOTO Clouds and Chaos. Stop by our new Pearl Art Studio, located across the street, for art-making and meet a monk around the community mandala designed by a local artist. In the museum, experience wellness classes throughout the galleries and spend some time watching the Tibetan monks create a sand mandala underneath a brand new installation by Japanese-American artist Jacob Hashimoto. No day at the Crow would be complete without a visit to our newly designed museum gift shop, the Lotus Shop.
