Homeschool Passport to Asia Program
The Homeschool Passport to Asia Program introduces home school students to the cultures and art of Asia. Students and their adults spend 1.5 hours at the Crow Collection every week for four weeks. Each week, the group will focus on a work of art from a different Asian culture in the museum and then continue to explore ideas from the galleries through hands-on art making in the Belo Mansion space.
Each visit covers 1-2 artworks from a single culture and lasts approximately 1.5 hours. Homeschool students can register for individual sessions or the entire 4 week session. Registration is $5.00 per child per session, which includes art making materials. There is no fee for adult chaperones and children ages 3 and younger accompanying older siblings.
Students will explore how body language helps to tell a story by looking, discussing, and responding to sculptures through yoga-inspired movement.
