This fall the Crow Collection will embark on a period of transition that will include a 12-month phase of construction. During that time we will build a 5,000-square-foot addition heralding the return of the Lotus Shop to the museum, as well as a tea shop, gallery, and education space. All are set to open in the fall of 2018.

This new space will provide room to transform—to internalize and focus on building the programs we do best. This “quiet” time and period of reflection means that the monks from the Drepung Loseling Monastery will not be in residence in 2017. Additionally, the museum will not present the larger signature programs this year.

Once construction is complete, vibrant programming will return with an array of experiences for many audiences.
