Crow Collection of Asian Art

Apply to be one of ten high school students selected to attend a brunch with local DFW artists and Ho Tzu Nyen, Ho Rui An, Moe Satt, and ‘Come Inside,’ five of the artists featured in Invisible Cities.  Invisible Cities is an exhibition and screening series that showcases more than twenty contemporary video works by renowned and emerging artists from countries in Asia.  Then, stay for a marathon day of screenings, performances, and panel discussions by artists featured in Invisible Cities.

Ten students will be selected by a committee of Crow Collection and Dallas Contemporary Curators and Educators. No more than 2 students per school will be invited, and preference is given to juniors and seniors. Selection is based on quality of response.

  • This program runs from 11 AM – 6 PM on Saturday, October 14, 2017 and takes place at the Crow Collection of Asian Art. Discuss your ability to commit to program if selected.


The Artist Residency Program gives local high school students the opportunity to learn and create with a contemporary artist at the Museum during Spring Break. Through the program, students explore Asia through works of art on view at the Crow Collection, learn new techniques and new ways of thinking from a practicing artist, and present their work professionally at the Crow Collection.
