Wisdom of Compassion: The Art and Science of Iwasaki Tsuneo (1917-2002) Closing Ceremonyat Crow Collection of Asian Art
Please join Dr. Paula Arai, the curator of Wisdom of Compassion: The Art and Science of Iwasaki Tsuneo (1217-2002), as she performs a closing ceremony with the Mindful Intentions offered by guests throughout the duration of the exhibit. Mindful intentions are important on the journey to enlightenment. Intending to dissolve mental habits that cause suffering – grasping, hating, fearing – can release their hold on you. Intending to cultivate mental habits that generate compassion – kindness, respect, gratitude – can help them grow. Throughout this exhibit over 3,000 people wrote out and left their mindful intentions.
